THMA WILL PROVIDE SME HOTEL INVESTORS WITH KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION WITH REGARD TO OPPORTUNIY FOR HOTEL AND RESORT INVESTMENT IN NEIGHBORING ASEAN COUNTRIES
Thai Hotel and Hospitality Management Association planned to organize a new training package for SME hotel investors between February 24 – March 24, 2013 to provide management knowledge for new investors in small and medium size hotels and resorts.The training program is named Advance Management Program for Hotel Entrepreneurs and executives.The training program will be organized only on Saturday and Sunday for five consecutive weeks, and will cover various subjects related to marketing, HR management, service design, food and beverages, kitchen management, brand building and SOP workshop with a final presentation of brief marketing plan from each participant.The new training course will also focus on new opportunity for investment in neighboring ASEAN countries to cope with the ASEAN Economic Community 2015.THMA will invite expert on trade and investment in Myanmar from Department of International Trade Promotion to give a lecture on opportunity for investment in Myanmar.Interested investors can also request for more information from THMA at mobile tel. 081 6152333 or contact the association via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
DIGITAL MARKETING AND BRAND BUILDING FOR SME HOTELS
As Thailand is embarking on its path of a new economic development and the emergent of ASEAN Economic Community in 2015 within the ASEAN Framework Agreement of Service, there will be an increasing numbers of foreign investors in the hotel and tourism industry. In order to survive the SME hotels must be able to compete in the international marketing arena and building their own hotel brands to create brand awareness and perception from the general public. THMA has proposed for government funding in supporting the SME hotel owners in developing digital marketing and brand building.The program will focus in providing digital marketing knowledge to minimum 400 small hotel marketing personnel from 200 hotels all over the countries.A selection process will be made to recruit minimum 50 hotels out of 200 hotels who are ready to embark on the brand building process of their own properties.The process will include in depth consulting and training for the hotel marketing executives by brand building specialist for six months and building social media network as well as integrated marketing communication strategy for individual hotel.
